Nairobi Headquarters Church – July 16th
Following the previous week’s blessings, four more souls at the Nairobi Headquarters Church, and eleven souls at the Kawangware ACIFK Church, took a significant step in their spiritual journey through baptism in the name of Jesus. The spirit of rejoicing filled the air as these believers publicly declared their faith and devotion to Christ.
Sigalame ACIFK Branch – July 23rd
In Sigalame, under the guidance of Pastor Denis, three precious souls found their way to the waters of baptism, bearing witness to the redeeming love and grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Their commitment to Christ’s teachings shines as a beacon of hope in the community.
Sirisia ACIFK Branch – July 29th
In Sirisia, Pastor Mackson witnessed a beautiful moment of faith as seven souls were baptized. The waters of baptism washed away the old, and a new journey in Christ began for these individuals, who are now embraced by God’s love and salvation.
Grounded in the Word of God
The baptismal celebrations are grounded in the Word of God, as stated in Acts 2:38:
“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38, ESV)
In Galatians 3:27-29, we find the assurance that:
“for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:27-29, NIV)
Titus 3:5 reminds us of God’s grace, saying:
“He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” (Titus 3:5, NIV)
And in Mark 16:15-20, Jesus commissions His followers to spread the good news:
“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.” (Mark 16:15-16, ESV)
Prayer Request
As we rejoice in the baptism of these precious souls, let us also unite in prayer, seeking God’s grace, strength, and wisdom for our ministers as they guide and lead their congregations. Additionally, let us pray for the newly baptized souls, that they may be empowered by the Holy Spirit to walk steadfastly in their newfound faith.
Glory to the Lord Jesus
In closing, we give all glory, honor, and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is wise and our Savior. Let us remember Jude 1:25:
“To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” (KJV)
May His name be exalted, and His love continue to transform lives, as we stand united in faith and love for one another.
